Eight years between a 40 mm tube and a 4 metre wall.
My name means joy in Greek — χαρά /xaˈra/ — and it is also, more or less, how I like to work: I would rather enjoy the fourth round of amends than pretend there won’t be one.
I design brand identities and the packaging they live on. That means I am as interested in the dieline as in the logotype, and I would rather be at the press check than hear about it afterwards. Most of what I make gets manufactured, so the work has to survive contact with card stock, ink, vinyl and a fabricator’s tolerances.
I have worked in-house, in an agency, and inside an architecture practice — which is how the same discipline ended up applying at two very different sizes. A cosmetics tube gave me forty millimetres to make a mark legible. An office floorplate gave me four metres and a person walking past at speed. The rules turn out to be the same: decide what has to survive, and cut the rest early.
Greek native, fluent English and Spanish. Based in Athens, available from September 2026, and happy to travel for a press check.
